A Tour in Ground Zero Museum

Ground Zero Museum Workshop, full of breathtaking images, rare video clips and remnants collected from the Recovery stage in Ground Zero, evokes the memory of the day in the mind of the visitors. This museum is called to be the biggest little museum in New York.

All the pictures, videos and other remnants of 9/11 recovery are packed and installed in a place that is warm and emotional. There are some lifesize 3-D installations beside the photos and videos. Everyday, 2-hours tour take place in the museum. You will have your own tour guide in the tour. You can also take your kid with you as the museum is kid friendly. Audio tours in various languages such as Italian, French, English and Spanish are also available for the visitors. Everyday tours are offered at two times: 11 am and 1 pm. In Saturday, another tour is offered at 3pm. On Sunday and Monday, the tours are offered on 12 at noon and 2 pm. A maximum of 22 visitors are allowed for one tour.

As the tickets get sold out often, it is better to book your ticket in advance. You can book tickets through phone. The Ground Zero Museum offers an unbelievably heart-wrenching experience that touches everyone. The museum is also known as being very sensitive as the subject matter of the museum is very delicate. No morbid or graphic image is displayed here, so that you can take your kids with you.

The museum is only 5 minutes away from Ground Zero. However, renting a car in advance is better to avoid any unfavorable situation.
