When I graduated from college, my parents surprised me with a wonderful gift. Although I was pretty confident that I was going to receive something nice from them, I had no idea what it was going to be. Luckily for me, what I received exceeded anything I would have imagined them giving me.
What my parents gave me was an all expenses paid trip to New York for two weeks. Two years earlier, I had visited New York for three days. I really liked the city, and I had seriously been considering moving there after I graduated. Since my parents knew about this, they decided that it would be nice for me to actually get a full two weeks to experience New York and decide if I liked it.
Well, after spending a full two weeks, I have definitely decided that it’s where I want to live. I have several more months before my current lease is finished, but once I have completed my current lease, it’s off to New York to see what’s in store for my future. I obviously can’t predict the future, but I’m quite excited to find out what it has in store for me.
