When I was planning a trip to New York, one of the things I was not thinking about was transportation. Like most people, when I think of New York, I think of everyone getting around in taxis, so I assumed that I would do the same once I arrived. However, a couple of weeks before my trip, I was talking to one of my friends, and the issue of transportation in New York happened to come up in our conversation. My friend asked me what company I was renting my car from, and I gave him a funny look. I told him that I hadn’t even thought about renting a car for my trip to New York. He laughed, and asked exactly how I expected to get around between New York City, Brooklyn and Queens. I smiled and said that he had a good point.

Once I got back home, I got online and started looking for a rental car for my trip. I came across a good deal from Avis, so I ended up making my reservation with them. I didn’t encounter any problems with Avis during my trip, and having the rental car did indeed make it much easier to get around between those cities in New York (not to mention it saved me money).
